just got my new nova to replace my old jet junk
dave came over and helped me install it
this is one nicccce lathe
the head stock dose pivot but dose not slide on the ways .the banjo is a lot bigger than jets so you can turn in the outbord mode much easer than jet .
think im going to like the nova
craft supply had them on sale for less than the jet 1442 plus the give you a bed ext. to make it a 44 in bed the legs for it are not cast iron but very stable for this lathe
so now its back to turning lets see how long the honneymoon lasts lol!
